Gizeh I, Egypt, 20090912

Left: Pyramid of Khufu (147m).

Center: Pyramid of Khafre (136m).

Right: Pyramid of Menkaure (65m).

All from around 2500-2600 BC.

Temperature around 34 degrees Celcius.

At the Great Pyramid of Giza you could go down to the dungeon / to the center of the pyramid. Pretty dark, very narrow and low passage and claustrofobic experience. If you have slow sweaty people in front of you it is not that pleasant. I would estimate the path is around 100m. You arrive in a chamber but there is nothing there and it is dark.
