Torre del Águila, Playa Blanca, 20210813

Castillo de San Marcial de Rubicón de Femés or Torre de las Coloradas was constructed in the 18th century. It is not open to the public.

 

It is one of several defensive towers, divided over the different Canary Islands. It used to have a bell, underneath the cross, to inform locals that pirates were approaching the island.
