Seashell / snail
This is a beautiful scavenger that lives in our salt water tank. It is about one inch long in the shell, about two inches end to end when it has its foot out and working. It has some interesting habits. For instance, it works for about ten minutes, then buries itself in the coral rubble at the bottom of the tank for about the same length of time with its little snorkel projecting above the surface, presumably to breathe. Also, unlike most snails and snail-like creatures I've seen, this creature is quick. It can climb the 18-inch tankside in about four seconds.
