Carolina Beach Changes

This was and probably still is one of the most iconic places to photograph along the Carolina coast, but thanks to the efforts of Hurricane Florence it has changed somewhat. The portion of the pier marked here was destroyed, but on the positive side beach erosion uncovered another set of old pilings like the one in the foreground and some large rocks on the beach.
