If you photograph waterfalls on a regular or even part time basis, you will from time to time see a tourist do something around them incredibly stupid. I saw one go over the railing at this one all the way to the waters edge on the slippery rocks. He was squatting at the edge so I could not see what he was doing. If you have ever been here, you know that he could have slipped into the raging waters, being swept over the middle and lower falls and would have been dead within a few seconds ! And what was the important reason for risking his life ? He was holding his dog to the water for him to get a drink. Now if the man had fallen in , I would have written it off as natural selection of an idiot, but putting a dog in danger is indefensible !
