GOMA

feathers. the hair of birds. the artwork spelt out 'i forgive you'. Part of the Australian woman exhibition on at GOMA in brisbane. I'm not sure that australian women are known for their ability to forgive. We're not really known as a forgiving nation. Seems a little voodoo passive-aggressive to write in in 6ft high letters made form the hair of chickens. Or is that just me? I'd be thinking 'crazy. crazy like a fox'.

Work by Bindi Cole. see: qagoma.qld.gov.au/exhibitions/current/contemporary_austra...
