Ghostly effect
While balancing the shady parts of my photo showing an old alley in Ceva (Piedmont, Cuneo - Italy), I noticed the masked part itself could be interesting even without the background. I added a touch of vivid color to make it less "ghosty".
Please, if you like this effect, don't leave just a "Wow! Astounding!" comment, but explain me why you like it. I'm rather curious to discover mental processes beyond the likeliness of an image. Thanks!
Mentre stavo bilanciando le parti in ombra della mia foto di un vecchio vicolo a Ceva (CN), ho notato che la parte usata come maschera poteva essere interessante anche presa a se stante, senza lo sfondo. Ho aggiunto un po' di colore vivace per farla meno "fantasmosa".
Per favore, se vi piace questo effetto, non lasciate solo un commento "Bella foto!", ma spiegatemi perché vi piace. Sono abbastanza curioso di scoprire i processi mentali che stanno dietro alla gradevolezza di un'immagine. Grazie!
