TFW you think you have the perfect beach read (set in Hawaii!) but it makes you ugly cry in the first chapter so you have to save it till you get home. 😬📖😭 . I knew Moloka’i was about Leprosy, but I didn’t think that one through, whoops! I did finish eventually, and it was a heart-wrenching beautifully written story.
