Lighthouse under bloody sky - Point Lookout, MD (On Explore 7/24/2014)
Point Lookout Light is a lighthouse that marks the entrance to the Potomac River at the southernmost tip of Maryland's western shore of the Chesapeake Bay, south of the town of Scotland in Saint Mary's County, Maryland. It is known for its association with ghost stories and has been the subject of paranormal investigations. Besides the paranormal association the sky got really ghostly when I was there. I was hoping for a bright sunset but I got a very rare red-brow sky... well, maybe a perfect background for the red lighthouse. The light is no longer in use.
