Mantella cf manery 'Daraina', Loky-Manambato Protected Area, Madagascar
This incompletely diagnosed taxon falls within the descriptive parameters of Mantella marojejy, but outside of the Marojejy National Park area. Current work on Mantella manery, M viridis, and M ebenaui may sort out these species or possibly lump all of them under one taxon as phenotypic variants.
The animals imaged here were at higher altitude than the more common M ebenaui with no apparent overlap of the populations.
