Buses in Spalding
Spalding buses in the 1970s, and the beginning of the NBC era. The long-defunct route 20 to Grantham via Bourne and Corby Glen is seen crossing the railway in Winsover Road. In this picture the level-crossing has been reduced from four tracks with eight gates to two with four and the complex approach signalling has been replaced by a route indicator on a single stop/distant signal.
