The theme on this Macro Monday is nine...
I didn't have to think long about, what I would photograph on the subject of nine. Because Charlotte started school this week, my parents came to visit us yesterday. Unfortunately we don't see them very often, because they live about 900 km away from us. But every time they visit us, I have to bring up the oldest object in our house... a wall clock over 120 years old, which was hanging in a post office at that time. As a housewarming gift we got this clock from my father. He is already a pensioner, but still an antique dealer who lives this job 24 hours a day.
I love this old piece of jewellery... She shows me every time I see her that the time is timeless and also sometimes simply priceless. Charlotte and Paul would love to stop the clock so that the grandparents' visit never ends.
