Elegy

I saw this impressive woman on our tram ride in Lisbon. Charlotte drew my attention to her. She said to me... "Daddy why does the woman look so sad?" I could not spontaneously answer Charlotte. But then I saw that the woman got off the tram.... at the cemetery. And immediately this woman reminded me of my deceased grandmother. Her eyes and glances also became sad and empty after my grandfather's death.

 

I miss you, dear grandma!
