Randall's Red Barn in the Palouse
Hi everyone! The Palouse photo tour has been awesome and unfortunately will come to a close on Thursday. Today was a very gray and showery day, although it got better later in the day as we went to Palouse Falls.
I have had a great time on this photo tour, and our guide Jack Lien is extremely personable, knowledgeable and a long time resident of the Palouse. Check out www.palousetours.com, if you would like to find out more information! All I can say is that it has been fun and a great tour of some of the most photogenic areas of the Palouse region of eastern Washington.
One of our tour members wanted a photo of a red barn, so we found this little abandoned gem and named it "Randall's Barn!"
This is one of my bracket shots with three exposures (+2,0,-2), shot on a tripod, merged in Photomatix, with some adjustments in Photoshop and Topaz Adjust, then final processing in Lightroom 2.
I know several of my friends have been eagerly waiting for some shots from the Palouse, and I hope that this one satiates that need for a couple of seconds! I will finally be able to really look through my friends photos this weekend, so I really appreciate your views, faves and comments. Have a great rest of the week, and I look forward to immersing myself in your photostreams!
