The Before Shot...Day 49/365

~Explore #7?!! (Never been in the top 10 before--Wow?@!)~ THANKS so much everyone.

My shoot from last week. This was babe's position before I propped him up on his arms *see photo below. I like this one too, but obviously the other shot steal's the show. All natural light here. Large window camera left (3 feet) and skylight facing baby (6 feet away). I like how he has his hand on his other arm..and how he was using his chub for a pillow :) He is lying on a crib sized mattress that I can move around depending on lighting angle desired. I have a boppy pillow placed on top of the mattress where he is posed, and then the backdrop sheet is hung on a portable rolling clothes hanger behind him and over the mattress/boppy. The sheet (cotton vanilla waffle motif) is held in place by 2 large clips. It is approx 3 feet wide by 10 feet long. The nice thing about the mattress is that it can be moved around to find the best lighting angle without waking baby. I also have a large beanbag, but for this position (on tummy) I find a flat surface with a slight tilt much better (and roomier). Small rolled receiving blankets can be used to adjust angle afterwards. The receiving blankets are just stuffed under the backdrop sheet as needed. I used a white noise machine and cranked up room heat also. Hope that helps someone. Hat from Etsy.. www.etsy.com/view_transaction.php?transaction_id=24363536
