The Union - ALm-02 Natatorius

After the development of the Hazel, it was realized that more units were needed to cover other types of area other than land. So using the Hazel's basic frame The Union created the ALm-02 Natatorius. An Aquatic type Kampfer that's main purpose was to be used for aquatic warfare but had the ability to still roll up on land and prove to be a decent unit to support others on the land battlefields.

The Union had done numerous tests with the Hazel with Aquatic type attachments but it came off being too slow for their expectations and was a large unit that came off as being easy to hit and they weren't easy to transport in water vessels such as submarines. So The Union started looking at the ideas of a smaller frame than their Hazel and one that would possibly resemble a small un-manned sub. The one idea they wanted to keep was to have the engines be part of the Kampfer instead of simple attachments. So the arms were then put onto the legs leaving the original arm room for it's engines that provided all the thrust for the Kampfer.

It wasn't until after that The Union saw it's potential for it to transform into a sub looking Mobile Armour that could be used for both attacking or repairs.

 

But for some odd reason, pilots started to call it Steve and Hubert. It wasn't determined which one was more popular but it caught on between the pilots and became the inside joke for all of The Union's Kampfer pilots. Even the higher ups didn't understand the two names for the Kampfer.

Well that was an awful backstory ;_;

But anyways, this is my Aquatic Kampfer for The Union.

 

It's nothing too crazy special. All I wanted for this guy was to have arms on the legs. I hoped that it was different from what people would normally see on a mech and it wasn't until after that I could "transform" it into a Mobile Armour. It's not a complex or good transformation but compared to MA's in the Gundam series, well it's just as good :P

 

The only reason I like this is because of the arms on the legs and that it's still nicer than the other things that I hate but yet still post.

Also I used blue cause apparently I use too much white in my builds and Viro calls me a white whore :c

So he told me to use blue for a change. It's not a lot but still, there's blue! So Ha! I win.
