Ma proposition pour Macro Mondays sur le thème "string" (ficelle ou corde)
Au début des années 60, ce grelot était attaché au guidon de ma trotinette. Ainsi, où que je me trouve dans le jardin mes grands-parents m'entendaient !
La ficelle est d'époque et le noeud également : c'est mon grand-père qui s'était chargé de fixer l'objet à mon bolide à deux roues. Je retrouvé le grelot toujours attaché à sa ficelle et, depuis, je le conserve avec quelques autres objets dans ma vitrine à souvenir.
Une fois n'est pas coutume, j'ai utilisé un format vertical afin que la ficelle soit bien tendue.
In the early 60s, this bell was attached to the handlebars of my scooter. So, wherever I was in the garden my grandparents could hear me!
The string is from the period and the knot too: it was my grandfather who was responsible for attaching this object to my two-wheeled speedster. I found the bell still attached to its string and, since then, I have kept it with a few other objects in my souvenir display cabinet.
For once, I used a vertical format so that the string was tight.
