Well now. What have we here? It looks as though this particular Modernist house is not modern enough for its owner. Alright, these aren't a particularly distinguished pair, but they are decent enough and it would be a pity if they were worsened. The decking at eaves level looks like the prelude to some roofing work. Are we in for a pitched roof I wonder? Of course we shouldn't condemn the job before it's done, and it could be that the owner is an enthusiast who will restore the house with the utmost fidelity, but that front door is not a good augury.
