Before Adshel

A smart dual-purpose Leyland National of the Crosville Motor Services fleet standing in the Piccadilly bus station in Manchester, Thursday 12th October 1978. The facilities look so solid and well constructed, with cover and seating for waiting passengers. As far as I can make out from Google Street View, the facilities now seem to be divided between bus and tram, with no proper buildings, merely "Adshel"-type shelters. How like everywhere else Manchester now looks.
