Experimental vehicle

Not a very good photograph ...how was I to know the aperture had jammed wide open at f2.8?... but of an interesting vehicle. This Bristol FLF Lodekka with Bristol engine, built in 1960, was retained by its manufacturer for experimental purposes. Presumably it was useful to have a "testbed" for trying out modifications and improvements. It was not sold for service until 1967, when production of the Lodekka ceased. It passed into the fleet of the Eastern Counties company and is seen in Norwich on Friday 11th June 1976.
