Hello Flickr.

Its been a while again. We've been working through the May preorders but mostly posting over on our worktable blog so social media posts haven't been too frequent.

 

There was an absolute tragedy in Alex's family last week and it has been pretty brutal on him and his family. When things like this happen it puts life into perspective and makes you realise just how short life really is.

 

While I don't feel like its something I can comfortably talk about seeing as though it isn't my family directly, I did want to take a moment to talk about mental health and to encourage anyone who is having any problems with anxiety or depression to please reach out. To a family member, a doctor, a teacher, a friend. If you're suffering and have nowhere to turn do not suffer by yourself. I know it sounds infuriating to hear this advice over and over but I am a firm believer that a problem shared is a problem halved. Just find the right person to talk to. Communication is ever so important.

 

Aside from that, for the first time in a really long time, I'm feeling quite inspired with some of my personal characters. Most of which are out with our beloved Lua at the moment but seems as though some of them might be home again soon and I can't wait to work on them and share them with you.

 

I'm hoping that I may be onto something creatively for the first time in a while. Its been ever such a long time that I had any form of inspiration with things outside of work so I'm hoping that I can keep hold of it and materialise it into something.

 

For anyone wondering, commissions are due to reopen in the middle of the month.
