Hello everyone! Happy... Sunday!
First of all, this is my friend's Amanda (I swear I never liked this sculpt until I've seen this girl in person. She is INCREDIBLE)in a wig that will be available as a pre-made next week. Made in Error. Thanks Storenvy. (more about that in this post)
I haven't posted much here lately. I've been working so hard to sort out all of our packing and preorders and styling videos and apartment hunting and I guess it all got too much for me yesterday and I literally imploded and spent the day in tears, snot bubbles and panic attacks.
We have at least applied to a new apartment, conveniently located RIGHT BY A POST OFFICE and after 2 weeks of solid packing til 2am every morning, to get everything ready for posting the second they open in the morning, I'm SO thrilled about that. We're both pretty exhausted and tired and run down and ideally need a couple of days at the end of the next week to relax before we get cracking on the next order. Which I have to admit I am actually really excited about. We've got so much more range and unique wigs to make from the orders placed so far and so I'm really pleased I'll be able to actively post everything we're working on.
We learned a lot from this past preorder. We learned just how productive we can be every single day, how long packing really takes and how much storenvy sucks. It was our busiest preorder and we made so many wigs that I can only be proud of us for getting them all done in the allocated time but I realise we really underestimated just how long it would take to get everything out the door. I just wanted to be able to make for everyone who wasn't able to get a wig in the sale and then I suppose I hit my limit. We won't take preorders even half as big as that last one in future and we will go back to premades after this next one currently finishes (Theres still a few days to order those by the way. We'll probably close next friday or Sunday)
I have a lot of shipping notices to send out today (it was supposed to be yesterday but I ended up in SUCH a state that I literally didn't have the capability of looking at my screen due to a migraine from hell. I'm much better now though so shipping notices will be sent out and anyone who needs 3 more days for us to remake the wigs that were incorrect will be notified.
There are about 15 wigs that got messed up because Storenvy malfunctioned so i'll be working until Wednesday correcting the mistakes and then from Wednesday we'll probably have some premades available from the wigs that were made in error.
I will have styling videos up in the next couple of days too. I appreciate that since we have to brush everything down for safe packing, sometimes wigs can look super underwhelming when you receive them and the last thing I want is for people to be disappointed so I've really tried to fit in some recordings of exactly what to do to make your wigs look like they do in our photos in just a couple of minutes.
I said I wasn't going to have rambly text updates for a while but theres just been so much going on I feel like I need to just throw it out there. xD
We also have our new team member working with us now but I'll talk about that once I've managed to close this last preorder completely. I get in such a state knowing people are waiting but I promise you we're doing our best!
