Status Update

So I know its been a wee bit quiet around here the past few days. I thought that me feeling so bad was contributed to /that-time-of-the-month/ but just as I felt back to normal this morning, now Alex is poorly in bed. Sigh. Theres a whole bunch of in-progress wigs I was hoping to have done by today but it looks like they are going to take a couple days more. Its a bit crap whatever it is, but it makes even going to pee seem like a tremendous effort. No energy. Nausea. Headachey. Ugh.

 

Anyway, I'm using this brief downtime to do a little status update, fibre prep and working on some schedules. I love organisational days. Looks like we'll be complete (or near enough) by the end of the month so we can go into the new year all shiny and fresh with premades and very few (or hopefully no) commissions. YAY! We are ahead of schedule for the most part but I know we'll probably take a few days off around Christmas so we might overrun into the new year just a wee bit.

Matty, last couple of alpacas, Christina (orange-red), all being dyed. Hoped it was going to be today but realistically thats going to be tomorrow or Friday now.

For the couple of resizes, working on those this week too.

 

Everyone who placed their orders on the new system (big cartel), its all systems go next week and we're hoping to plough through those nice and quickly. The new method works out tons better for us. I'm so glad we moved from etsy > - w <

 

In the meantime; hope you are all staying healthy with all the winter viruses flying around now and getting in the mood for Christmas! I'm trying to feel festive but its hard to when we're so far away from family. ;-;

 

Anyway, hopefully lots of wig photos coming towards the end of the week.
