Grassy Point Swiiiiiiing
While watching BLE 909 unload ore on the dock in Duluth we picked up a snippet of a radio transmission. It sounded like a CP train calling the Grassy Point bridge operator. We decided to take a chance and see if we could find it. Seeing nothing on the drive over to the Superior side of the St Louis River we decided to wait a few minutes. We wanted to make sure we didn't miss 909 heading for Proctor. After waiting as long as we dared we figured we better head back so we didn't miss 909. Just before we got on the bridge to take us to Duluth we heard another radio transmission that confirmed a train was imminent. The end result was CP2320 crossing the Grassy Point Swing Bridge. After this shot as we are the bridge crossing back to the Duluth side we picked up 909 on the move for Proctor.
