Spain, Valencia, Albufera, a Spanish name for Lagoon. The Natural Park “Albufera” at twilight & its fishing traps . Once a bay on the coast of Valencia is today the largest sweet water lake in & one of the most important wetlands in the Iberian Peninsula. A nature reserve of very great ecological importance, which is used by unique waterfowl as a wintering site.

 

Its rich waters have served has always been the fishermen & rice farmers as subsistence therefor the area produced a tasty gastronomy, like the regions signature dish the “Paella Valenciana”, the tasty Arrós a Banda or All i pebre, prepared with eel from the lake.

Enjoying a relaxing boat ride on the calm Albufera lake get you carried away by the red-gold colour match of the sunset on the endless horizon.
