China, Hong Kong,… a blue transporter with bamboo poles for scaffolding on high-rise buildings. Bamboo scaffolding will be transported in parts to the construction site & set up there with rope connections. After use, the scaffolding parts can be separated again & taken to the next construction site.

Like steel scaffolding, bamboo is used to carry out work on a structure & protect people from injury. The use of bamboo scaffolding has established itself in Asian countries such as China, Japan, India, etc. & has nothing to do with the economic prosperity of a country. In Asia the fast growing building material bamboo is in large quantities & cheap available. The recycling of bamboo scaffolding is also more environmentally friendly than that of steel.

The training to become a bamboo scaffold builder takes up to three years, the rods are connected & knotted with centuries-old experience of a secure technique with ropes.
