OK so I had others that had a more obvious shoe-puddle connection but I like this angle.
This was shot under pressure too, there was someone coming to collect me and were driving up our lane, I had like 20seconds to take it (if i didnt want to seem like some crazy person playing in puddles) from this POV. One shot, one kill ;)
This is the second weekend in a row that I somehow managed to get stuck at home on my own without any transport :/ So I just worked on Lest We Forget a little more.
UUB gave us a photo assignment do to over the summer at some point. There is a social issue to address, inequality in female boxing. It also has to be shot in 35mm b+w. That's just peachy.
Now Im no boxer nor do I have an interest/appreciation for the sport. I have one possible contact into male boxing which may provide an entrance point to a club etc. The final result must be a series of potraits (35mm b+w) of female boxers. I have a nice concept and technique for the set though because this is a docu-style project I don't think I can fake it as far as subject matter goes. So I have to find a way to get into a club and find some sort of connection.
Not something I'm terribly confident in, especially if it isnt my idea. Though I've been waiting for a push like this. Havent done something that excites/scares me like that since my homeless work in Belfast.
If anyone would like to donate some 35mm film I would be very greatful :)
