My First Zine!
I've got a good collection of automotive images with most stored quietly on hard drives and I decided it would be nice to try and get some into print in the most cost effective way I could.
A trend lately is to create a 'zine' or effectively a soft cover magazine which I decided to do. Not as difficult as I first imagined, the hardest part being selecting and placing images that worked together on the pages.
The cost of the zine was very reasonable but then add in the international postage to NZ and it's now a zine to be handled with care!
As it was my first attempt I ordered a single copy as a proof basically, but ordering a few at a time would even the cost out somewhat.
This is the outcome - a 36 page high quality zine featuring 50 black and white and colour images from both film and digital cameras. I thought the film BW images actually printed and looked nicer than some of their digital counterparts.
A nice way to print and showcase a collection or special event etc.!
