Beyond the Mountain Gate

After passing through the famous hole of Torghatten near Brønnøysund, this breathtaking view opens up toward the west coast of Helgeland. The golden hour has passed, and the blue hour quietly takes over — a moment when light and shadow meet in perfect harmony.

Fun fact

Torghatten is one of Norway’s most iconic landmarks, known for its distinctive hole running straight through the mountain. According to legend, the hole was created when the troll Hestmannen shot an arrow after a fleeing maiden — but the rising sun turned him and the arrow to stone, leaving the mountain with a hole through its heart.
