Just scratching the surface under a full moon...

Here's some interesting geological features from last night at the Pawnee Buttes under the glow of a nearly full moon. With the photon-gathering power of today's modern DSLR's, I feel we are truly just beginning to scratch the surface of what's possible with night photography under moonlight. Heady days indeed!
