Fort Hunter Liggett observed a moment of silence while a drummer tapped out nearly 3,000 beats on the drum for everyone who perished during the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. The Remembrance ceremony featured The 191st Army Band, "Band of the Wild West" Army Reserve Band, a color guard wearing World War II uniforms, and 1st Lt. Wanda Carr of HHC, FHL singing the national anthem. The 63rd Readiness Division - 63rd RD conducted the ceremony honoring the three Army Reserve Sgt. Audie Murphy Association inductees.
