“Because I felt differently when I was with him than I had with anyone else, and there was always something that drew us together, whether it was if we had a conflict, he would seek me out if I walked away; and if he walked away, I sought him out. We just always knew that it was supposed to be that way. We’ve been together since we were 17 years old — going on almost 30 years.”
