The Global Ground Support Aircraft Deicing Simulator, developed by ForgeFX, is 3D training simulation software for airport ground support equipment operators. The simulation allows operators to be trained, tested, and assessed in a safe, risk-free, and low cost environment. Training simulators allow companies to immediately lower their costs by reducing their consumption of expensive real-world materials during the training process, like fuel and deicing glycol. Simulation-based training allows heavy equipment operators to train for many more hours than they could on real-world equipment, due to the prohibitively high costs associated with consumables, as well as real-world equipment down-time.
