Decisions

This was a difficult section to work. I had several factors to consider. There was middle section that needed to have "the sapwood sand" and then the ends of the burl had to have the ends of of the "sapwood." I had already specially ordered the piece with the center sapwood, but the two sides were harder. I searched everywhere through my stock to find something that had the required sapwood but also had capable heartwood. Nothing. So the result is a jumble of heart wood. I hope, once it is all sanded down and finish is applied that it will not be to noticeable.
