Warning!, Berliner U-Bahn Museum

This is the other side of this sign. It reads: "Warnung! Das Berühen der Stromschienen ist lebensgefährlich, und darum verboten." Translated: "Warning! Touching the electrified rails is life-threatening, and therefore forbidden." I like the "therefore" in that sentence.

 

The Berliner U-Bahn Museum is based in the former Olympia-Stadion signalbox. The museum is maintained by the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Berlin U-Bahn, and is normally open to the public on the second Saturday of each month.
