Pillcam - Small Intestine

Before a Pillcam capsule is taken, an absorbable patency version is administered. If it gets through the whole bowel, one can be confident that the real one won't get trapped. In a very few cases, though, it does. That's what happened in this case due to marked thickening of the intestinal wall and narrowing of the lumen resulting from Crohn disease.
