Deputising on the Kilcreggan Ferry Gourock

 

With the withdrawal of MV Seabus (now Chieftain) from the Gourock-Kilcreggan-Helensburgh service for maintenance this was a chance for the Cruiser to prove her worth on this regular crossing.

 

Note the extra steelworks built into her upper deck just aft of her wheelhouse this is so she can go alongside ships as a Port Tender
