Montane Meadow Stream
I composed this image of a bubbling stream while wandering through a montane area not far frm the town of Banff, in Canada's Banff National Park.
The ecology of montane areas favours diversity, and I certainly found evidence of this in the plant life surrounding this stream, as it exited Johnson Lake, tumbling downhill to end up in some different, distant place.
I didn't follow the stream very far on the day I created this image, and later regretted not doing so. So I'm going to return, perhaps in a few weeks when the larch trees are showing off their beautifual autumn colours.
