After The Fire
I encountered this view while travelling Alberta Hwy 93, not far from Lake Louise. I parked my vehicle and climbed a hill on the far side of the road to find a view-point that would allow me to compose this image. It is of a mountainside ravaged by fire, only tree spindles remaining. But I found its appearance far from bleak, as gentle light fell upon the interesting mountain architecture the fire had revealed.
