Whoopers unloaded at airport

Fourteen whooping cranes arrive in Louisiana in the third year of the experimental reintroduction program being conducted in the southwest part of the state. These young birds are the offspring of captive birds from zoos and research facilities in the United States and Canada, and have been raised specifically for release to the wild.
