Kelpies are Water Creatures
A watery moat surrounds the sculptures, as Scottish legend depicts the Kelpie as a water horse. Unsuspecting humans are lured to the beautiful horse, and become tangled in its mane or adhered to its body. The Kelpie takes the unlucky soul beneath the water to drown and devour the victim.
