Game On - Paralympics

Earlier this year we worked with Team Saatchi as part of the print advertising campaign for 2012 GB Paralympic Games.

 

The brief was to create a visual translation of Team Saatchi’s ‘Game On’ and branding concept for the 2012 GB Paralympics. The images produced had to challenge current perceptions and promote notions of achievement, ability, talent and determination.

 

Visually setting the style and tone of the campaign, Fluid drew on influences from the gaming and film world to create a stormy explosive environment in which to position the athletes as super-hero’s. Working with a selection of group and individual images, the team is arranged in to a powerful tableau which depicts the group crashing down to earth straight to the centre of the Olympic stadium. The image is epic and charged with an electric sense of movement and energy and the team are immortalized into fictional ‘beyond-human’ beings. There is a high octane sense of drama and ambition which seek to bring the branding concept to life in a dynamic, relevant and engaging format.
