Black Dick's Tower, Houses Hill, Huddersfield

I am advised by competent persons that this is on Houses Hill near Huddersfield. I shouldn't have needed reminding, as I took the shot ... Designed by James Paine (1717-1789), it is properly called the Belvedere. Belonged to Whitley Beaumont estate, and is in many ways all that remains. Opencast mining has done for the rest.
