Operator error
Spotted this Great Blue Heron down in Salt Creek as I crossed the bridge over the river while on a busy street. I pulled off at the next possible place and walked some distance back to the river. The instant my head showed over the deep bank of the river he took off. No problem, right? My D50 can still capture the moment.
Wrong, not if I don't think about the manual settings I had just been using to get flower photos. If only I could walk and think at the same time!! The origional photo was totally overexposed, it took Photoshop to even resurrect it to this point!
