Alpine Light
Just got back from a trip to Meysan Lake in the Eastern Sierra with my friend. At 12am this morning we geared up and started to climb 13,770 ft Mt. Irvine. Supposedly there was a straightforward route up, it being pitch black made finding it hard, and 100 feet shy of the summit we ran into a class 4-5 (requiring ropes) pile of rock. Oh well, at least it was a photogenic pile of rock :)
