Unicron - Planet mode
This is the exclusive Takara Toy Hobby Market version of Unicron in his planet mode ready to devour some planets.
This giant size toy is a slight redeco of the Armada version with a more movie-accurate head. He is part of the Transformers 2010 anniversary celebration in Japan.
This is the only version of this mold I have, and I'm happy to have it as part of my classics collection.
The new head, new color scheme, and especially the detailed panel lining are great on this toy. I really like that they kept the feature where you move his pincers and his jaws open and close. He also looks so much better without all the transparent purple plastic.
It is really quite expensive and therefore maybe not quite worth the purchase price for what he is.
