Snowy egret - Egretta thula

Egrets and herons (that we both sum up in Germany as 'Reiher') seem to be the most present birds in Florida. While the Great blue heron is the most common one of these birds in Germany it seems like the white colored species are on top of the list in Florida. Though this was the first and last time we saw snowy egrets at our journey.
