sweet dreams
Hawaiian monk seal . . . we found this guy snoozing on the beach. They are endangered and only about 1,200 are left. They are strong swimmers able to stay at sea for as long as a month; dive 600 feet and hold their breath for 20 minutes; grow up to seven feet long and weigh between 400 and 600 pounds and can live 30 years. I feel very privileged to have encountered him.
