jack in the pulpit

We stumbled upon a treasure off the beaten trail . . . the ground was littered with jack in the pulpit fruit! I had never seen so many in one location before and can't wait to go back in Spring and see them all in bloom! This was the biggest fruit I have ever seen! It had fallen over and the branch of a tiny tree was supporting it.
