Appletiser ad - great idea, execution needs improving
Initially I thought this ad was great: caught my attention (partly because I didn’t expect to see an Appletiser bottle in an online ad), and secondly I immediately moved to roll over and ‘catch’ the falling items. Disappointingly the mouse control was clunky (being polite!) and clicking on the handbag, dresses and shoes didn’t seem to have a reason behind it, or a message. I only saw the final frame once because the erratic mouse meant that the ad reduced to MPU size almost every time I tried to close one of the items to ‘catch’ another.
Great way to market Appletiser, but the execution leaves a lot to improve upon.
